Editing, is one of the most important parts in an amateur photographer's pictures. For a new photographer, there are many softwares out there in the market that are considered to be good. But honestly for me, I prefer doing simple colour correction using Photoscape. It is because its simple and easy to use. But if you wish to go professional, its always Adobe. I know it takes time to learn and master Adobe but in the mean time, this is a good start to photo editing; simple photo editing. However, you need improvise on the features to get the preferred results.
You get it for free at www.photoscape.org . But always keep in mind that it should be only for temporary because in the end, its best to switch for the better ~ to Adobe. That is a ultimate software for major works. Here is one of the sample of one of the features in photoscape.
